Power & Motor

The DWE7485 is corded, runs on 120 V, and draws 15 amps. Standard U.S. residential circuits are 120 V, 15 A, which will support the.

The DCS7485T1 is cordless and requires 60 V batteries.

Both saws have motors that spin at 5800 rpm. You shouldnt get too caught up in the RPM numbers, since the manufacturers test them under ideal conditions, so they dont have a meaningful correlation with the saws real-world capability to handle various types of material.

Blade Compatibility

Both products take 8 1/4 diameter blades and have a 5/8 arbor. Most 8-to-10blades have a 5/8arbor hole, so this size of arbor gives you a variety of options.

Neither table saw accepts dado blades. If youre a woodworker, this might be a major shortcoming. If you might want to use dado blades, you might want to look at a different model.

Size & Capacity

Both table saws can rip up to 12 of wood on the left side of the blade. The DCS7485T1 has 24 of rip capacity on the right of the blade. The DWE7485 has 24 1/2 of rip capacity on the right side.
